From literary movements and voices of country to adaptations, interpretations and close analysis, every session follows the VCAA Literature Study Design and your school's SAC calendar — with the same specialist tutor each week, in a group of no more than five.

The Literature difference
Literature rewards a genuine reading. We help students find theirs.
VCE Literature asks students to read closely, consider how form, language and context shape meaning, and write with a personal, well-argued interpretation. High-scoring responses move beyond summary to analyse specific language choices and engage with different readings. Our sessions train that close attention and help each student develop a confident, articulate critical voice.

How it is assessed
SACs, creative responses and one exam.
School-assessed coursework (SACs)
Units 3 and 4 are assessed through school-based SACs including analytical and creative responses. We build a plan around your school's SAC calendar so each task is rehearsed before it counts.
Creative response and commentary
Unit 4 includes a creative response to a text with a written explanation of its choices. Sessions coach how to write inside a text's world and justify each decision clearly.
Close analysis of passages
Students must analyse short passages in depth, attending to language, imagery and structure. We practise this regularly so detailed reading becomes second nature.
End-of-year examination
The external exam asks students to respond to two different texts through close analysis of set passages. Preparation moves to timed writing and examiner-standard feedback on past VCAA tasks.
